🎉 Exciting Updates for December! We're thrilled to announce a major improvement coming to Mimosa Salon Suites of Stonecrest. In response to your feedback about noise levels from our neighbor Vybes restaurant, we're taking action. Suites 131 through 136 will be receiving professional soundproofing installations over the next couple of months. This upgrade will create a more peaceful, focused environment for both our beauty professionals and their valued clients. We understand that a serene atmosphere is essential for providing top-notch services, and we're committed to ensuring your workspace meets the highest standards of comfort.


As we welcome December and the upcoming New Year, I'm filled with gratitude and optimism. I invite those who have been fortunate to consider giving back to those in need. Please read on for opportunities to make a positive impact on our community.

Dressing for Success

Dress codes or appearance policies allow you to set expectations regarding the image of your business and your services. Dress codes can be formal or informal, as long as they're consistent. 


Implementing a dress code in your salon will help radiate professionalism. 


An immaculate appearance leaves a good first impression, and it promotes confidence in both the client and  yourself. Additionally, it helps articulate the level of your services and the fairness of your business practices!


Consider implementing a dress code in your suite. You might find return visits and feedback increase after some time!


We will be using this new ticketing system to make our maintenance requestes more organized and streamlined! SupportBee is a ticketing system software used to store and manage the support desk history, best practices, and any supporting documentation.

As we prepare for Valentine's Day, it’s the perfect time to harness the romantic spirit and boost your business with some creative sales strategies. Here are our top tips to help you make the most of this love-filled season: Valentine’s Day Packages: Bundle services that complement each other, such as a massage and facial, or a haircut and styling session. Offering these packages at a special rate can entice clients to indulge and treat themselves or a loved one. Partner with your neighbor to offer better packages! Gift Cards Galore: Encourage your clients to purchase gift cards as Valentine’s gifts. Promote them with a small discount or offer a bonus gift card for every purchase over a certain amount. New Year, New Floors: Exciting Updates at Mimosa Salon Suites Happy New Year to our wonderful Mimosa family! We're starting 2025 with some exciting news that will make our space even more beautiful and functional for both our suite owners and clients. Mark your calendars: This April, we're giving our floors a complete makeover. After years of faithful service (and countless services), our current flooring has earned its retirement. We're investing in flooring in the hallways that will not only look great but also provide better wear and tear for those many thousands of clients coming to the suites every year! The installation is planned to roll out in phases to minimize disruption to your business. We're working with our people to ensure the smoothest possible transition, with most work scheduled during off-peak hours. We'll share the detailed schedule and specific arrangements in our February newsletter. This flooring upgrade is just one of the improvements we have planned for 2025. Our hard work has paid off, and we're now current with service requests and nearly caught up on rent collections. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered support, encouragement, and prayers during this trying time. Your kindness has made a world of difference. Hello, and Happy September! Hello, Mimosa family! It is officially September and autumn is almost here! With cooler temperatures and exciting events just around the corner, we musn't forget to take time on September eleventh and remember those who lost their lives as well as those who lost their loved ones on the tragedy of 9/11/2001. Every day is a great day to be apart of the United States of America, but especially on 9/11 it's important we remember our gratitude for first responders and the bravery it took to face that national tragedy. On a lighter note, we hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Labor Day weekend. Don't forget that here at Mimosa we encourage an open line of communication. This is the best way to get anything fixed and my support team will promptly address your needs. Regarding collections and payments, I request that you communicate with me if there will be a delay, especially if it extends beyond Monday or, for some, the grace period until Wednesday. We all know that April is the month we celebrate April Fool's day, but did you know that it is thought that the word “April” comes from the verb “aperire,” which means “to open”, which makes sense since April is the season of trees and flowers beginning to bloom. The April birthstone is a diamond and the birth flower is either a Daisy or Sweet Pea. The Mimosa staff wishes you a beautiful, safe, and blessed April!
